The engine of Bentley T2 model was on the front side placed under the hood, size is grown to 6750cc. It was a 90-degree, eight cylinder OHV engine which offers enough power to achieve top speed of nearly 120 mph. It completes the race from 0 to 60 miles in only 11 seconds.

The same type of engine was used in it's predecessor model of T2 i.e. Bentley T1. On the courtesy of three speed automatic transmission system the power produced was sent to the rear wheels.

With the adaptation of the rack and pinion steering unit the performance was improved over the prior Bentleys.
