Bentley Hunaudieres Introduction

A spectacular concept automobile, Bentley Hunaudieres was shown by Bentley Motor Cars at the Geneva Motor Show in 1999. After the one year Volkswagen became the proprietor of Bentley party.

This project of supercar provides debut of a new 16 cylinder locomotive developed to offer technologically advanced power plant with specific Bentley characteristics.

The Bentley Hunaudieres was powered by a W-16 locomotive. It was developed by VW, who joined to V8 engines together at a slant of 72 degrees. Total 64 valves and a displacement of 8 liter produces 623 bhp at 6000 rpm on all four wheels.

Two banks of four cylinders were held by each V-8 engine at 15 degrees, in this way the large engine was still quite compact considering the power production and a torque of 561 Lbs. Ft at simply 4000 Rpm.
